Production Team

Stephanie Butler, Division Manager
Stephanie ButlerStephanie Butler is the Division Manager responsible for the production of legal conferences in the Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences, Litigation and Intellectual Property arenas. Prior to taking on the role as Division Manager, Stephanie was a conference producer for ACI developing a number of events involving patents, litigation and life sciences transactions.

Before joining ACI, Stephanie engaged in products liability litigation at Pepper Hamilton LLP, focusing primarily on multi-district national medical device litigation and previously worked as a criminal defense staff attorney at the Defender Association of Philadelphia.

In addition to her legal experience, Stephanie also spent a number of years working as a correspondent and field producer for a local entertainment news television program. After graduating as the Valedictorian of Rutgers, Camden with a bachelor's degree in psychology, Stephanie then continued on at Rutgers Law School where she served as a State Constitutional Law Editor on the Rutgers Law Journal.

Renée Karibi-Whyte, Division Manager
Renée Karibi-WhyteRenée Karibi-Whyte is the Senior Manager of the Division responsible for the production of conferences in the Financial, Litigation and International Trade arenas.
Prior to joining ACI in 2001, Renée engaged in commercial and securities litigation at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. In addition to clerking in the Federal District Court in the Eastern District of Michigan for Julian Abele Cook, Jr., she worked in the Hague (The Netherlands) at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (popularly known as the "Bosnian War Crimes Tribunal") with the United States Judge, Gabrielle Kirk McDonald. Renee also was in the Honors Program at the US Department of Justice, where she worked in the Environmental Defense section as a Trial Attorney based in Washington, DC.

Renee is a graduate of Harvard Law School and the School of Business and Industry at Florida A&M University.

Andra Dallas, Industry Manager
Andra DallasAndra Dallas is the Industry Manager of the Advertising, New Media, & IP Division. She is responsible for producing ACI's flagship event in this sector, The Corporate Counsel Forum on Advertising Law. Andra is also responsible for the production of newer events such as The Regulatory Summit for Advertisers and Marketers, Sweepstakes, and Sports Law. She has also had the benefit of working in other areas such as mass tort litigation and real estate.

As Industry Manager, Andra oversees a wide variety of conferences and either manages them herself or assigns them to different members of her team based on her research, which includes following and tracking legislation, regulatory developments, and litigation.

Prior to joining ACI in 2005, Andra was an associate in the Real Estate Department of Davis & Gilbert LLP in New York.

Frédérique Duranton, Industry Manager
Frédérique Duranton is Senior Director and Industry Manager, International Trade for ACI. As Industry Manager, Frédérique monitors trends and developments in all areas of global trade & compliance, FCPA & anti-corruption, customs, export controls, global supply chain & finance, international trade law and public policy.

Frédérique has been working in the International Trade sector since 1986 & has produced critically acclaimed conferences in the US, Canada, Europe and China, in many areas including Export Controls, Customs Compliance, Anti-Corruption, Transfer Pricing, Supply Chain and Export Finance.

Prior to joining ACI, Frédérique was Import Manager at a leading European Trading Company and previously managed international payments for TNT Express France.

Frédérique has extensive experience working with Europe, South-East Asia and The Middle-East. She is bilingual French-English, earned her MBA in International Business in San Francisco and has a Master in International Business with honors from the "Ecole Superieure du Commerce Exterieur" – ESCE – the highest ranked import/export school in France. She lives with her husband and daughter in San Diego, California.

Kenneth S. Horton, Industry Manager
Kenneth S. HortonKenneth is the Industry Manager of the Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences Group, Legal Division, at ACI.

Since joining the company in early 2005, Ken has produced two of the company's flagship Drug & Medical Device Litigation conferences, as well as various programs related to clinical trials, licensing and collaborations, antitrust, fraud and abuse, among others.

A licensed attorney admitted to practice in the courts of New York State, S.D.N.Y and E.D.N.Y., Ken is a graduate of Hofstra University School of Law (where he was Articles Editor for the Hofstra Law Review) and Iona College. Prior to joining ACI, Ken was a Legal Editor for VerdictSearch, a division of ALM that publishes verdict and settlement news and research. And prior to joining VerdictSearch, Ken was an Associate in the commercial litigation department at Holland & Knight LLP in New York

 

Kathleen Breedyk, Senior Conference Director
Kathleen is a Senior Conference Director at ACI, focusing on the areas of litigation and insurance. After a stint in music and film production, she practiced law in Canada and has been producing legal conferences for the past 10 years in the US and Canada. Kathleen is located in Los Angeles.

Adina Schwartz, Senior Conference Director
Adina Schwartz is a Senior Conference Producer at ACI, working in the fields of law, finance and international trade. Prior to joining ACI, Adina was an Industry Manager (Legal & Finance) with ACI's sister company, The Canadian Institute, in Toronto, Canada.

Before her career in conference production, Adina practiced labor and employment law at the international law firm of Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP in Toronto, with particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, wrongful dismissal claims and workplace discrimination cases. Subsequently, Adina worked as a Human Resource Management Consultant for a boutique consulting firm in Toronto.
Adina currently works out of Los Angeles, California.

 

Brett Brumberger, Conference Producer
Brett BrumbergerBrett has been with ACI since September 2007, during which time he has served as the Conference Producer for a number of finance-, insurance-, and litigation-related events.
Prior to joining ACI, Brett was an associate in the Structured Finance practice group at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP in New York City, where he worked on a variety of deals involving complex financial products, including Collateralized Debt Obligations. During law school, Brett had the pleasure of working with the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, an organization that delivers pro bono and low cost legal services and information to members of the arts community. Prior to entering law school, Brett worked at Kaplan, Inc., where he taught test preparation courses and provided individualized tutoring for the GMAT, GRE, LSAT, and MCAT.

Brett received his JD from the Columbia University School of Law, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone scholar and an editor for the Journal of Law and the Arts. He has also earned a Master's Degree in Media Ecology from New York University and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Washington University.

Carmela Crimeni, Conference Producer
Carmela Crimeni is a conference producer at ACI working primarily on conferences related to the pharmaceutical industry. Carmela predominately works on conferences examining the regulatory and litigation concerns of pharmaceutical and device manufacturers with a particular focus on pricing for the pharmaceutical industry.

Prior to joining ACI in 2006, Carmela was an associate with the law firm of Simon & Milner, a general practice law firm. At Simon & Milner, Carmela independently managed a caseload comprised of real estate, matrimonial, family court, and bankruptcy cases.

Carmela graduated from the Columbus School of Law, Catholic University of America in 1998 and is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey. Carmela graduated cum laude from the State University of New York at Albany in 1995.

Nilda Del Valle Heller, Conference Producer
Nilda Del Valle HellerNilda Del Valle Heller joined ACI in 2008 as a producer in the legal, financial services and international trade division. Prior to joining the company, Nilda was an in-house human resources and legal recruiting consultant for a number of AmLaw 100 law firms.

She previously worked as the managing associate of a boutique employment law firm. She has been featured in Latina Magazine for both her professional and personal pursuits.

Nilda received her JD from Fordham University School of Law in 2004 where she served on the Journal of Corporate & Financial Law and on the board of the Latin American Law Student Association. She also completed a year long Latin American Business Law program at the University of Miami School of Law. Nilda graduated with excellence from Binghamton University in New York with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics & Law and also studied history at the University of Havana, Cuba. She is fluent in Spanish, and has studied and traveled extensively throughout Spain.

Liz Deluca, Conference Producer
Liz DelucaLiz DeLuca joined ACI in August 2007. As a former attorney, Liz's primary area of expertise is the financial services industry as well as the mortgage banking and insurance industry.

Prior to joining ACI, Liz was an insurance defense litigator at Zarwin, Baum, DeVito, Kaplan, Schaer, & Toddy, P.C., based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Primarily Liz was involved in products liability and insurance coverage disputes.

Liz is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey having received her JD from Penn State University, Dickinson School of Law in May 2006. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh where she received her B.A. in Political Science and Communications/Rhetoric in April 2003.

Virna Di Palma, Conference Producer
Virna Di PalmaVirna Di Palma joined ACI in 2007. With a background in international law, she produces events on a wide range of global issues including global customs, reinsurance in Brazil, anti-corruption, and dispute resolution in China.

Virna has made contributions to numerous published works on security and counter-terrorism strategies. Prior to joining ACI, Virna was a researcher for a progressive UK-based think tank, Demos, where she was the primary contributor to the publication "Community-based approaches to counter-terrorism."

Virna recently graduated from King's College in London with a Master's degree in International Peace and Security. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from Northeastern University in Boston and also attended Harvard University and the London School of Economics.

Alan Forrest, Conference Producer
Alan ForrestAlan focuses on the pharmaceutical and biotech industries for ACI, as well as on complex litigation subjects. He has coordinated major industry events, including national conferences relating to clinical trials, pharmaceutical/biotech licensing and collaborations, and programs addressing fraud and abuse in the sales and marketing of drugs.

Prior to joining ACI, Alan was an attorney for several years for the Thomson Corporation, where he negotiated key publishing and licensing agreements and assisted with the development of the Westlaw legal research engine. Alan is also interested in zoning law and the many constitutional issues arising under land use regulation. He served as editor of the Zoning and Planning Law Handbook (1996, Clark Boardman Callaghan Publisher).

Alan is a licensed attorney and member of the New York Bar, Alan is a graduate of Cornell Law School and of Brandeis University.

Holly Goldberg, Conference Producer
Holly GoldbergHolly Goldberg joined ACI in September 2007. Holly's primary areas of expertise include financial services, securities, insurance, and litigation.

Holly's previous professional experience includes Practice Area Manager in the General Business group at LexisNexis; Senior Attorney Editor in the Litigation group at Thomson West; and New Product Development Manager with Wolters Kluwer Law & Business, responsible for generating revenue in a number of practice areas for both Aspen Publishers and CCH, Inc.

Holly is originally from Rochester, New York and is a now a resident of New York City. She received her B.A. in International Business Economics from the State University of New York College at Fredonia in 1994. She then went on to earn her J.D. from New York Law School in 1997.

Catherine Quinn Greenfield, Conference Producer
Catherine Quinn GreenfieldCatherine is an attorney producing conferences for the Life Sciences division of ACI.

Prior to joining ACI, Catherine was an attorney with Herzfeld & Rubin, P.C., where she practiced real estate and insurance defense law. While attending St. John's University Law School in the evening, she worked as a paralegal for firms in New York and Long Island.

After graduating with honors from Fordham University, Catherine worked for several years in government, both for the New York City Council and the New York State Assembly. She also performed a year of service at Casa de Esperanza, a home for abused and abandoned children in Houston, TX.

David Krell, Conference Producer
David KrellDavid Krell joined ACI in 2007 with a background concentrated in intellectual property law. David began his career at Broadway Video, co-owner of "Saturday Night Live" with NBC. To broaden his media exposure, David worked in the ratings research department at Spelling Entertainment and spent eight years as a television news writer and producer at FOX News Channel, MSNBC, and local stations in New York City. In 2004, David received an LLM in Intellectual Property from Cardozo Law School. Additionally, David produced networking and educational seminar events under the banner PRIME – Professionals in Media and Entertainment for his company, Blue Stripe Media Group.

Sunsieray McCall, Conference Producer
Sunsieray McCallSunsieray McCall is a Legal Conference Producer in the Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences Division of ACI. Sunsieray produces conferences to address cutting-edge IP-related issues, although her primary interest is in complex litigation topics.

Sunsieray is a 2004 graduate of Widener University School of Law, where she was a member of both the Trial Advocacy and Moot Court Honor Societies, progressing to the finals of several prestigious moot court competitions, including the 2002 Judge G. Fred DiBona Appellate Advocacy Competition and the ABA Client Counsel Competition.

During law school, Sunsieray received an ABA Minority Judicial Externship Scholarship to clerk for the Honorable Matthew F. Kennelly and was also selected to participate in the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office internship program.

Matt Godson, Marketing Director
Matt GodsonMatt Godson is the Marketing Director overseeing the team responsible for the marketing and delegate sales activity across the entire ACI event portfolio.

With more than 12 years experience in the conference / trade show marketing field, Matt has held senior marketing positions at IQPC, IIR and Chorleywood Consulting in both the UK and the US and, over his career has been responsible for the marketing and execution of more than 1000 business conferences & trade shows as well as numerous fundraising events.

Matt holds an Economics degree from Manchester University and is a writer/contributor for a number of international travel guides

 

Joseph Zerbo, Senior Marketing Manager
Joseph ZerboJoseph Zerbo is Senior Marketing Manager at ACI. After obtaining his B.A. from Queens College, Joseph began his career in the home video industry marketing Japanese animation titles on DVD and VHS, and then eventually moved into print publishing, where he marketed graphic novels, comic books and urban/street fiction paperbacks. Joseph's professional experience also includes a brief forays into book publicity and the direct marketing of magazines and other periodicals. Inspired by the many industry expos, tradeshows and summits he attended over the years, Joseph felt crossing over to event marketing would be a natural progression for him, and he has found conference marketing to be the challenging and rewarding experience he anticipated it would be.

 

Arielle Begin, Marketing Manager
Arielle BeginArielle Begin has been employed with ACI since August 2007. Arielle works as a marketing manager across various industries with a particular focus on advertising law and insurance compliance. Previous to ACI, Arielle launched her marketing career as an assistant marketing manager at American Law Magazine (ALM) working with the National Magazines including The American Lawyer and The Corporate Counsel as well as the other ALM publications and ALM's website Law.com.

Arielle received a B.S. in English Literature and a minor in business from The University of Connecticut in Storrs. Arielle moved to New York shortly after her graduation to pursue a career in marketing. She originally hails from Rhode Island.

Alison Morgan, Marketing Manager
Alison Morgan has been with ACI since August 2007. As a Marketing Manager, Alison brings several years of solid event marketing experience. Her conference portfolio spans across various industries including Pharmaceutical, Technology and Insurance. Previously, she served in the Marketing Department at DVTel Inc, a security solutions company for 2.5 years, where she was heavily involved in events/tradeshow, interactive marketing, CRM and promotions. She also held various marketing positions at organizations such as Loews Cineplex Entertainment and Kiss FM Radio.

Alison obtained her BA in Marketing from Baruch College and holds an MBA in Marketing Management from the Keller Graduate School

Edward A. Santelices, Marketing Manager
Edward A. SantelicesEdward joined ACI in 2005 as Marketing Project Manager. Edward brings over 8 years of conference/trade show and event management experience to his role, and is responsible for developing and implementing ACI's unique marketing strategy for a legal conference portfolio that encompasses the Anti-Corruption/FCPA, Pharmaceutical/Biotech, Regulatory & Compliance, Advertising and Marketing, Insurance, and Financial Services industries.

Prior to joining ACI, Edward has worked on various conferences & trade shows in the Manufacturing and Capital Markets/Investment Management sectors. Edward holds a BBA in Marketing and minor in Graphic Communication from City University of New York – Baruch College. He is currently a board member with the Baruch Young Alumni Network.

Benjamin Greenzweig, Director of Sales, Strategy and Innovation
Benjamin GreenzweigBenjamin Greenzweig joined ACI in October 2004 as Director of Business Development, U.S. and was promoted in October 2007 to Director of Sales, Strategy and Innovation. His responsibilities include managing the operations of the US and European business development teams, driving internal and external corporate strategy and innovation, identifying emerging sectors for growth and overseeing change management initiatives. Since 2000, Benjamin has implemented a distinctive philosophy on business development that is deeply rooted in preserving a transparent and consultative relationship with each and every client. This practice has resulted in dramatically elevated rates of success for sponsoring organizations and has redefined the standards of the sponsor-conference organizer relationship. Prior to joining ACI, Benjamin was the Manager of Business Development for Economist Conferences, a division of The Economist Group, Sponsorship Sales Manager for the Institute for International Research (IIR) and Director of Community-Constituent Relations for former New York State Senator Vincent Gentile.

Benjamin graduated cum laude and received his B.A. from Binghamton University philosophy, politics and law.

 

Wendy Tyler, Group Leader & Business Development Executive
Wendy TylerWendy currently leads and is a senior member of American Conference Institute's business development team, specializing in aiding Am Law 200 firms, consultants and other solution providers develop conferences and build brand recognition. Since joining ACI in 2005, Wendy has worked extensively in ACI's Anti-Corruption and FCPA, Regulatory and Compliance, White-Collar, Global Trade, Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences and Litigation sectors.

Prior to her tenure with ACI, Wendy worked as an International Financial Consultant for The Children's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Wendy received her B.A. Degree from Rollins College where she majored in Business Management and Sociology.

 

Cesare DeRose, Business Development Executive
Cesare DeRosePrior to his tenure at ACI, Cesare maintained relationships with property management firms and real estate developers for Graybar Inc .He has extensive business development and client relationship experience.

Cesare is a graduate of The Lubin School of Business at Pace University with a degree in Business Administration.

Michael Felden, Senior Business Development Executive
Michael FeldenMichael Felden is a senior member of American Conference Institute's Business Development team. Since June 2005, he has specialized in working with AmLaw 200 firms, consultants and other solution providers to design sponsorship platforms and derive topics for new events. He works extensively within ACI's Litigation, IP, Technology/E-Discovery, Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical, Regulatory and Advertising & Promotions portfolios.

Prior to joining ACI, Michael was a Staffing Manager at Robert Half International and a Senior Sales Executive at GDS International. Michael received his Bachelors Degree from the University of Pittsburgh, where he studied business and rhetorical theory.

Esther Fleischhacker, Business Development Executive
Esther FleischhackerEsther Fleischhacker is Business Development Executive, Special Projects at American Conference Institute. For six years, she was Senior Consultant at EquiPro International, Ltd., a New York City based international management consulting firm which specializes in the strategic development of organizations and their employees.

Esther started her career in the foodservice industry where she served in consulting and management capacities. Over the years she opened several restaurants in New York City that operate successfully and have branched into other parts of the US. During her last assignment in the industry she led a team of 25 managers and over 120 employees in seven operations in New York and surrounding areas.
Esther graduated cum laude from the New School University with a Masters in Organizational Change Management and is the 2008 Chair of Member Services for the Legal Marketing Association's Metro New York Chapter. She is published in Pharmaceutical Executive and Focus Magazine of the Society of Pharmaceutical and Biotech Trainers.
